Against INEC

Our count agrees with INEC's declared result.

INEC's declaration, as broadcast on TVC News on 16 August 2026, gave figures for three parties. For each, our sheet-by-sheet count lands within a quarter of one per cent of INEC's figure.

PartyOur countINEC declaredOurs vs INECGap
Accord (A)509,899511,067−1,1680.23%
All Progressives Congress (APC)444,178444,815−6370.14%
African Democratic Congress (ADC)17,19617,180+160.09%

Both counts put Accord ahead: by 65,721 votes in ours and 66,252 in INEC's. Our count is a little lower for the two leading parties, as expected: 31 polling units are not in it (see coverage below).

This corroborates the declared result. It does not certify it.
